Elizabeth Finn goes live with Civica’s Residential Care software

Civica Coldharbour software is already improving finances and operations

Elizabeth Finn Homes Limited (EFHL), operators of nine premium care homes across England, has gone live with Civica’s Coldharbour residential care software.

Selected for its success in helping medium to large residential care providers, Civica’s Coldharbour software has been deployed to help manage care staff rosters, monitor time and attendance, improve resident income processing and billing and deliver better reporting.

The software is helping EFHL make payroll cost savings by using touch-screen time and attendance systems, installed at each home for employees to clock-in and out securely. Head office can now track hours worked, manage pay more effectively and ensure safe staffing levels.

The software provides quick staff rostering including matching skills and availability. EFHL can quickly track performance via KPI and operational dashboards.

EFHL is also benefitting from a new resident enquiry management system; allowing for better visibility of information and communication opportunities. Improved resident management means EFHL can easily keep track of resident room movements and any admissions and discharges.

The company can continuously review accounting processes and quality to make timely improvements, plus has better records of billing and receipting.

The new Civica software has given us the help we needed to future-proof the smooth operation of our care homes as we continue to develop. Our head office and home-based employees have quickly adopted Coldharbour and we’re already seeing potential for longer-term cost savings across our homes. We’re delighted the software has given us all the tools to provide a much-improved service to our residents and employees.”
